What's
a Thoughtful Soccer Coaching Clinic?
Whether
you're a new or experienced coach, a Coaching Clinic is a quick,
affordable introduction to Thoughtful Soccer. You'll learn the
one-size-fits-all practice, the skill games and scrimmages, the
Bunch Ball cure, and the Coachable Moment teaching style.
End
result? Every coach who attends will have better practice activities
and time management skills. Many, many players will then benefit!
What
are the different types?

Mini Clinic consists of a two-hour
field session and on-the-field chats

What
happens in a Coaching Clinic?
Coaches
of all different skill levels compete at the skill-games and scrimmages
in a safe, low-stress setting. Afterward, they receive a copy
of Thoughtful Soccer: the Think-First Approach to Playing
and Coaching (optional). When combined, the clinic and the
book allow total mastery of the method.

How
are Coaching Clinics arranged?
The
Thoughtful Soccer Guy will travel anywhere in the U.S. to provide
a Coaching Clinic. Your league or organization must provide the
coaches and a suitable playing area.

include phone numbers where you can be reached. I'll then contact
you to answer your questions and schedule the clinic.

Participants:

From
6-30 coaches and assistant coaches. The participants may
be of different skill levels and may coach different age
groups.
|

Format:
|
The
clinic lasts two hours. Coaches experience the basic Thoughtful
Practice, compete at the skill games and scrimmages, and
learn the bunch ball cure. The emphasis is on organizing
practices and managing time effectively. Coaches are also
introduced to the Coachable Moment teaching style. Each
coach also receives the book (optional).

Availability:

Mini-Clinics
are available year-round throughout the United States, climate
permitting. The participating organization must provide
an appropriate playing area, outdoors or indoors. Soccer
goals are not required.

Cost:
|
$30
per coach includes book. (Deduct $10 for each coach not
receiving book.)

Custom Clinic is any clinic from 5 hours to 14 hours (two
days) long. These longer clinics include a broader range
of topics, such as defending with pressure, breaking through
defenses, and taking free kicks. Advanced activities like
Space Cowboy and Dr. Diagnoso are also experienced. And
coaches receive more practice with Coachable Moments.
